It will soon take just a bit longer than usual to linger over the Chrysler 300.

Chrysler Group announced today that a new model — the 2007 Chrysler 300 Long Wheelbase — will be on display at the New York International Auto Show, in the Jacob K. Javits Center, April 14-23 in New York City. The Chrysler 300 Long Wheelbase is six inches longer than the current models, providing more than 46 inches of rear legroom and an additional 10.2 cubic feet of interior space. Available this fall, the lengthier Chrysler 300 is expected to attract sales from the livery/limousine industry, as well as retail customers.

"The 300 Long Wheelbase will have six inches more of the elegant, distinct design that made the Chrysler 300 the most-awarded new car in automotive history," said David Rooney, Director —Chrysler Marketing Communications. "In addition, limousine-like features have been added and custom options are available. The result is a truly distinctive and personalized experience for commercial and retail customers, all for what will be an affordable price."

Both the 300 Touring and 300C Long Wheelbase models can be ordered with unique, personalized features, including lighted rear writing tables, two 12-volt power ports for computers/cell phones, footrests, lighted vanity mirrors and directional reading lights for rear passengers, and available custom paint colors or pinstriping.

The Chrysler 300 Touring Long Wheelbase model will be equipped with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, providing 250 hp, more than some domestic V-8 competitors. The 300C Long Wheelbase will have the 5.7-liter V-8 HEMI® engine, generating 340 hp, and the Multi-Displacement System (MDS), which seamlessly reduces the number of cylinders from eight to four when less power is required, improving fuel economy.

The 300 Long Wheelbase will be modified by Accubuilt, a leading custom specialty vehicle manufacturer with more than 128 years of experience, based in Lima, Ohio, and will be sold through Chrysler dealerships.

Pricing and production information will be provided closer to launch this fall.

Ford Mondeo Caught Cold

At the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show, Ford Motor Company had a concept car on display named “losis”, set to test the public’s reaction to what will become the next generation Ford Mondeo. The losis was loaded with high tech, gull wings and an all over futuristic design and was hard to imagine in the every day traffic.

Here now are the very first photos showing a prototype of the real upcoming production Ford Mondeo, due for launch in 2007. The current model has been on the market since 2000 and underwent a minor restyling in 2003.
The pictured prototype, nicely clad in a very individual padded disguise, got caught during a top secret fuel stop in Northern Scandinavia (Sewden). When the driver spotted the photographer, he turned the prototype around and fled full speed.

The new Mondeo is being developed simultaneously in Cologne/Germany and in Great Britain. The test car is a four door sedan with a rather short boot, similar to the concept car. It is based on the new S-Max platform and the suspension is the same as in the latest Ford Focus.
Ford is likely to offer again fuel engines ranging from 4 to 6 cylinders and various 4 cyl. Diesel engines.

Yet more rumours are saying that this Mondeo will be sharing the same platform as the Ford Focus.

New Car: 2007 Opel/Vauxhall Corsa

The Corsa seems to be a regular on here with spy shots of the car undisguised and under heavy disguise. These are the official photos of Vauxhall's small baby. It will sit right between the Tigra and Astra.

Official pricing hasn't been announced yet for the UK but a £7,000 price seems reasonable

2007 Smart ForTwo Cabrio in The Lightest Disguise

Here we have is the next Smart ForTwo without any of the heavy disguise. The pictures show a cabriolet undergoing high speed testing in France on a French motorway. The only bits disguised is the front end and rear. The city car will be longer, wider, faster and taller than the current car. Offical press rellease will be April 2007.

The Smart SUV which was shown at the Frankfurt Motorshow will hint at the next ForTwo.

We will keep you post if any new info or pictures come out!

2006 Renault Trafic Facelift

Thanks to Ewans we can see the first sight of what the rear end of the 2006 Trafic Facelift looks like. As you see, the van is being transported on a transporter. Southern France now seems to be a hot spot to snag test cars. More info will be posted soon

2008 Cadillac CTS

The US Cadillac CTS will be growing in size. Prototypes have already been running around over America. The prototype shows a bulging wheelarche indicating the wheel track will be longer. I know I posted this about three times now but this is a photo update. If more info comes I will be sure to post it as soon as possible

2007 Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet RS

Over the last year alot of Renault's top secret cars have been caught on camera like their top secret SUV, Renault Modus RS and this. Huge alloys wheels, sports kit and huge front lower grille means that this isn't an ordinary Megane Coupe-Cabriolet. Despite the Megane having a recent facelift if it goes into production it will have the Megane Facelift face. The pricing range would be around £18,000 estimate.

FREEZE! (2007 Ford Focus RS)

As can be seen on these photos, Ford’s racing team is busy developing the hottest version of the Focus model range, the new RS. Almost on the last day of cold weather testing season, Ford came out with this prototype for a short test drive on a frozen lake in Sweden.
The test car has visibly big air intakes in the hood and stretched wheel arches to cover running gear from Volvo S60R saloon. As well as the four-wheel-drive transmission, the Focus RS also gets the S 60 R‘s turbocharged 5 cyl. engine, this one with a bigger turbo, estimated to deliver around 300 HP. However, Ford is expected to limit the performance car’s top speed to approximately 155 mph.
Not much has been said about the release of the new RS, rumours suggest a launch by the end of 2007 and a price tag of £25.000.

Hopefully this will be successful like the 5 door Focus Hatchback....

2008 Porsche Panamera

This is the first EVER glimpse of Porsche's supercar. Although it is a very early test mule what give it away is the bulging wheelarches and low ground clearence. This test mule was caught lapping around the Nurburgring circuit.

The supercar will be estimated at £90,000 and it will be a 4 door making it the first ever 4 door supercar put into production.

2006 BMW 3 Series (Coupe and Covertible)

I know I made a post about the 3/4 Series convertible but not the coupe. The coupe will be seprate from the convertible because it was a big hit alone.

The coupe was caught during a test drive on the roads of Munich. Disguise is slowly shedding away. More info will be posted so watch out!

2006 Volkswagen Eos Being Transported

This seems to be the first VW Eos in the UK. Going on sale in summer, a member gave us these exclusive pictures of the sports coupe-cabriolet on a transporter being transported to a dealer.

Starting from £18,995 going upto £32,000 which is very expensive as its rivals don't cost as much as this.

There are 4 VW Eos on the transporter all in the same coulor too.

2007 Lexus IS Coupe & Cabriolet

The first pictures shows the first ever glimpse of the new Lexus IS Coupe. A 5.0 litre V8 engine is expected. As for the cabriolet, it will have a hardtop along with a 2.5 or 3.5 litre petrol engine

It will compete directly with the all new BMW 3 series convertible.

2006 BMW M3 Swings Into View (5 Door)

These recent pictures showing a prototype of the next BMW M3 5 door. It was caught cold-weather testing in Northern Scandinavia (Sweden). The prototype shows heavy disguising around the front face but no disguising at the back. We think the face could be taken of the BMW M5. The rear could also be the same. Prices for the M-Sport 318d M-Sport start from £26,130 as the base model. Prices for this sports car could be starting from £40,000 to £50,000.

2006 Land Rover Freelander Caught Nearly Undisguised (LR2)

Land Rover will unveil this new Freelander at the British Motor Show this summer; it's expected to go on sale in the autumn in time for the 2007 model-year. Longer, wider, taller and with increased ground clearance, it's altogether larger and more luxurious than the current model, as Land Rover intends to steal back some of the ground it has lost to the likes of the BMW X3 and its much-improved soft-roading rivals such as the Toyota RAV4 and Nissan X-Trail, both selling well. This Freelander is mechanically an all-new model, and not exactly an all-unique Land Rover: it is based on a version of the Ford 'C1' platform, which also underpins the Focus, C-MAX, Volvo S40/V50, Mazda3 and so on, and it will have a sister model, the Volvo XC50. The XC50 and Freelander will share their engines, to include Volvo-supplied 2.8 and 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol units and a 2.3-litre Ford-PSA diesel. A six-cylinder diesel engine is also rumoured. However, much of the exterior design will retain a specific Land Rover flavour. Details such as the clamshell bonnet, air intakes in the front wings and vertical taillight clusters are lifted straight from the latest Range Rover and Discovery models, and the headlights will also bear a strong resemblance to the larger Landies. For all it's built around a car-like monococque structure (as is the Range Rover, these days) the Freelander should have enough off-road ability to suit most buyers - Land Rover is keen not to debase the brand-name's image. The chassis is stiffer than before, with higher ground clearance, and whilst the Freelander will not get the full complement of low-ratio gearbox, locking differentials and suchlike, it will have a selectable part-time four-wheel-drive system and electronic aids such as Hill Descent Control to help out in more challenging situations. There have been rumours that a two-wheel drive only model will be sold in the US, but this seems unlikely. Shots of the interior show a much-upgraded, more modern cabin, with tasteful black upholstery. The Freelander has been criticised for poor quality compared to its more modern rivals, so expect this issue to be addressed: greater attention to detail this time around, we think.

I can't wait untill the new Land Rover Freelander hits the roads. This will be called the LR2 over in the US. Land Rover Defender will be called the LR1, Freelander LR2, Discovery LR3

2006 Kia Carens/Rondo

The seven-seater MPV which will be sold in the US under the name Ronda, is going to make its world premiere at Madrid Motor Show
Kia issued a ‘preview sketch’ of its all-new Carens compact MPV (to be named ‘Rondo’ in North America), and confirmed that this model will make its world premiere at the forthcoming “Salon International del Automovil de Madrid”. The Carens will be revealed to the world for the first time at the bi-annual Spanish motor show, held in the capital’s Parque Ferial Juan Carlos 1 exhibition complex from May 25.
Longer, wider and taller than the model it replaces, the all-new Kia Carens will be available with seven seats for the first time in Europe. The rear seats fold down flat into the boot floor when not required.

YAY, at long last we get a 7 seater

2007 Audi R8 "Spotted"

Audi's supercar called the R8 will start from around £70,000. Caught here around Germany's famous Nurburgring racetrack it undergoes high speed testing. First glimpse of this supercar was in Volkswagen own testing grounds in Northern Sweden this winter. As you see fake red camo acting as if it was a part of the lights. It will look very similar to the concept (Le Mans).

Concept Car: Brilliance Hielea

This is Brilliance new concept car. Similar styling to the Nissan 350Z. Its a nice, sporty car with a name called Brilliance...? The chinise car firm plans to build a range of cars starting from superminis ranging to SUV's and executive sedans. I really hope this goes into production and it comes over into Europe

2007 Ford Focus Caught On Camera (US Facelift)

rash of prototype sightings around the streets of Detroit suggests that Ford is preparing a new face for the Focus. Judging by the horizontal grille bars and slim angular headlights residing behind the camouflage, it appears that a Fusion-inspired face may be in the cards for the next freshening of the Focus. Many enthusiast magazines have urged Ford to inject some new life into its U.S. fleet by replacing our warmed-over first-generation Focus with the European model. However, the European market Focus went up-market with its last redesign and Ford has already confirmed it will not be coming here due to cost related to using the C1 platform. Whether Ford can keep Focus sales steady by tweaking the design to match the new Ford family look remains to be seen. It faces some pretty challenging competition, the redesigned Honda Civic and Mazda 3 are tough acts to keep up with when you are getting old in platform years, watch out Ford!

Thats was I thought. It will have the Ford Fusion Sedan grille and possibly front lights too.

2007 Hyundai "EN"

This Hyundai SUV (4x4) will be slightly bigger than the Hyundai Santa Fe. Rumours are flying about this vehicle that this will replace the Terracan in 2007. It will be longer, wider and taller than its young brother. Toyota Highlander could be playing a part in this too, it could share similar dismessions to the Highlander. But its too small to compete with the Nissan Armada, Ford Expedititon, Chevrolet Tahoe etc. I personally think it will rival with the Cadillac SRX etc.
