After a good run with the EVO IX, the EVO X was released by our good friends at Mitsubishi and put smiles on all of our faces. Well the Japanese automaker has done it again with a premium edition of the GSR version. Although only available in the Japanese domestic market (JDM), it doesn’t hurt us to dream about the great EVO X.A level up from the RS and the GSR trims, the premium EVO X comes with fog lamps, 18-inch BBS wheels and body color scoops to match the overall look. Inside, the EVO X GSR premium comes with leather Recaro bucket seats, built-in Navi and a 9-speaker Rockford Fosgate stereo system - not that you’ll have the need to listen to anything but the engine.
Don’t worry though, they haven’t made any enhancements to the all-mighty 2.0L MIVEC I4 turbocharged/intercooled motor. It’s going to cost about $48,250 USD for the manual transmission or $50,785 for Mitsubishi’s impressionable Twin Clutch-SST DSG-equipped model.
