Citroen: Virtual green light to DS9


If one believes the words of Gregory Oliver, director of operations for SAP in Asia and China, the case is underway. That last week at the "China Automotive Industry Forum" that things are implemented and that the French director is back on the case.

Speaking in an interview on the sidelines of the conference industry, Gregoire Olivier has announced that the French brand tackle German marks were too hegemonic in the luxury car market and will therefore Metropolis although a version of the series in years come.

DS9 and its possible derivatives will be based on the Metropolis concept car born in the central style of PSA in China and is therefore in partnership with Changan Automotive Group, with which agreements have just been renewed, the project will be conducted DS9 out.

Metropolis, the future DS9 should resume the general appearance of the elements of style but also the wide-gauge (5.30 m x2.00 mx 1.40 m). G. Oliver added that the cost studies are underway as the first studies in R & D to see how we can pass the Metropolis stage concept car at the car series of very high quality. Developed on a platform that borrows parts to the C6 and 407, the future DS9 could enjoy a nice evolution of the platform of the current C6.
