Mercedes Benz 540 K Autobahnkurier 1938 Model Old Car





The names of new highways created around Berlin in 1938, Mercedes 540K had a strong impact upon its release. It is even said that Jean Bugatti would have inspired the design Atlantic. With its long hood and its refined lines, the Mercedes 540K scored his time and keeps class rarely equaled.

The Dymaxion by Buckminster Fuller-1933 Concept Old Car



The Dymaxion car was a concept car designed by American architect and inventor Buckminster Fuller. The word Dymaxion is a brand that Fuller gave to several of his inventions, to emphasize that he considered this as just part of a wider project to improve the living conditions of everyone. This car could hold 11 passengers and up to a speed of 140 km / h.

Pontiac Bonneville Special Concept Car - 1954



Arvey Earl renowned designer at General Motors was inspired by a trip to the Bonneville salt flats to create this car. He wanted to capture the essence of Bonneville racers and show the public that Pontiac was the leader in its industry.

Conceived as a response to the Chevrolet Corvette, Bonneville Special expresses the definition of high speed. Like all cars of this era, one finds the style "Jet Age": air bubble plexiglass door butterfly glass cockpit and a kit that looks like a jet turbine in the back.

Citroen C10 Beetle - 1956
