Citroen has shown photos of a new hatchback
New Citroen C4
Competitors of new C4, as before, will be: VW Golf, Renault Megane, Ford Focus and Opel Astra. As well as in a case with Citroen C3, new C4 will be issued only in a five-door variant and becomes direct replacement of model of the previous generation.

Official premiere McLaren MP4-12C
Company McLaren Automotive has officially presented the road supercar MP4-12C which earlier known under code designation P11 and is the first car of firm since legendary F1.
The car name consists of several parts: index MP4 designates chassis by "Formula-1" of a McLaren team, since 1981; figure 12 — the internal rating of the company showing a parity of parametres own superpenalty with competitors; letter C — designates that in a model design carbon is applied. On sale supercar McLaren MP4-12C which is planned to exhaust in the limited circulation in one thousand copies, will appear not earlier than 2011. In Great Britain car cost will make about 160,000 pounds sterling, and the novelty with Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Gallardo and Aston Martin DB9 will compete.

Bentley has officially presented a new magnificent sedan
On Sunday at annual festival Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance company Bentley has officially presented new flagman sedan Mulsanne to California.
According to representatives of the British motor-car manufacturer, this car is not the successor, evolution or the simply deeply modernised version of model Arnage, therefore Mulsanne will be positioned as absolutely new and even more luxury car. About it it is spoken in official press release Bentley.
In sale in the European market the novelty will arrive in the middle of next year. As it was informed earlier, cost of sedan Bentley Mulsanne in the Great Britain will make about 200 thousand pounds sterling.

On Wednesday company Seat has officially presented the most powerful updating of "charged" hatchback Leon Cupra which will receive traditional prefix R in the name.
The world premiere of the car will take place in September of current year at the international automobile exhibition in Frankfurt. About it it is spoken in a communique "Seat".The novelty has received a two-litre petrol turbo-motor power of 265HP which works together with a six-step mechanical transmission and corresponds to ecological requirements "Euro-5". It's necessary to notice, that more powerful versions of hatchback Leon Cupra — 310 Limited Edition (310HP) and Cupra Edition (282HP) — are issued by the limited circulations and are accessible only in Holland and Germany accordingly. Updating R will be on sale in all European markets, however exact terms of occurrence of the car at dealers are not specified yet.
According to the manufacturer, Cupra R with 0 to 100 km/h it can be dispersed for 6,2 seconds, and the maximum speed will make 250 km/h. Company BMW has officially presented serial hybrids 7-Series and X6
All-wheel drive crossover BMW X6 ActiveHybrid, according to representatives of the company, is the most powerful hybrid in the world — total return of a power-plant makes 480 h.p. (778 Nm). Such car has received 4,4-litre motor V8 with two turbines, two electric motors developing 91 and 86 h.p., the complete set nickel-metallogidridnyh of batteries and a seven-step automatic transmission. At work together with the petrol unit electromotors help the car on dispersal and can work as the generator at braking.
The hybrid version of a sedan 7-Series is equipped with the 20-strong electromotor, lithium-ionic batteries and more powerful version of the eight-cylinder biturbo-motor of crossover X6, developing 440 h.p. Also the car has received an eight-step automatic check point with support of function "stop start". Total power of a hybrid power-plant makes 455 h.p.
As they say in message BMW, the car is accelerated to 96 km/h for 4,8 seconds. The maximum speed — 240 km/h. In the USA novelties will appear on sale in the end of 2009. When such cars will enter other markets yet is not informed.

Company Audi has presented the big hatchback
Company Audi on Thursday has extended the first official details about the next novelty — the five-door hatchback Audi A5 Sportback constructed on a platform of model Audi A4.
The world debut of this car will take place in September at an automobile exhibition in Frankfurt. The five-door model will be on 36 millimetres below sedan A4, is hardly longer (4,71 metres against 4,7 metres at a sedan) and hardly more widely (1,85 metres against 1,82). The wheel base — too hardly is more (2,81 metres against 2,80 metres at a sedan), and forward and back than a bumper — is shorter.The weight of the car with a two-litre turbo-motor will make 1500 kgs — approximately the sedan with the same engine as much weighs. Thus the forward part of body A5 Sportback will be executed from aluminium, and all doors of a novelty will be deprived frameworks — as on "real" sports cars.
Salon A5 Sportback has only 4 landing places — the back sofa is formed under two passengers. The sizes of a luggage coupe — 480 litres at the lifted back seats (almost as at versatile person A4), and at the combined backs — the volume increases to 980 litres.
Engines for Audi A5 Sportback it is provided while six — three petrol and three diesel motors.
Four-cylinder updatings can be equipped or two-litre petrol TFSI with power of 180 either 211 horsepowers, or a turbodiesel of similar volume and power of 190 h.p. Besides, for A5 Sportback two six-cylinder diesel engines (by volume 2,7 and 3,0 litres accordingly), and also 3,2-litre petrol "A6" power of 265 horsepowers are provided also. Transmissions — either six-step "mechanics", or seven-step robot S Tronic.
By the tradition, new model Audi will be offered both with forward, and with a full drive quattro last generation (with active back differential), and front-wheel versions will receive the new version of system of stabilisation with function of imitation of interwheel blocking. Besides, all updatings Audi A5 Sportback in base complete sets will be already equipped with system of "absorption" of energy at braking, and model with mechanical transmission — also system "stop start".
