2010 Lincoln MKS EcoBoost pricing announced (U.S)

Lincoln announced prices on the 2010 MKS mid-sized sedan with Ecoboost, starting at $47,760, excluding destination and delivery.

The 2010 Lincoln MKS is the first Ford Motor Company group vehicle to receive the new 3.5 litre EcoBoost V6 engine for the 2010 model year. This engine is powered by two small turbos that starts up quickly in order to reduce the much-dreaded turbo lag problem. The two spinners are designed to last 150,000 miles or 10 years. Peak power comes to 355hp and maximum torque is 350 ft-lb (475Nm) made between 1,500rpm and 5,250rpm. Despite all that power, Ford said the 4WD MKS will return at least 17mpg in town driving and 24mpg in motorway driving.

The car comes fitted with 19-inch aluminium wheels, rain-sensing wipers, xenon adaptive headlamps, electric rear windscreen sunshade, steering wheel paddle shifters for the 6-speed automatic transmission, push button start system and ambient lighting.
