2011 Ford Transit Connect Taxi fit for service in Boston
Unveiled at the last show in Chicago, the Ford Transit Connect taxi in declination has passed its first test. It has been declared fit for service by the authorities of the city of Boston, the 10th largest city in the United States.
Since its introduction as a concept at the show in New York in 2009 until today, the Transit Connect has developed its version to better suit taxi usage. After meeting with several officials of companies and designers have made some adjustments, as does the back seat, now clad in vinyl, 7.5 cm or adding a handle to assist passengers to climb or off the vehicle. Not counting the addition of versions NG (CNG) or LPG.
First prize for the Transit Connect, it has received approval from the licensing department of the municipal police of Boston. Approvals required for entry into service and take over the Crown Victoria next year that will draw his bow.
